Terms of Service

By using PACR you agree to behave respectfully toward other users, provide accurate information, and use the service at your own risk. PACR connects people but does not supervise events; you are responsible for your own safety at any event you attend or host.

Your use of PACR is also subject to the Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk, which allocates all participation risk to you to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, including harassment, impersonation, or misuse of the reporting system.

By creating an account, accessing PACR, hosting an event, joining an event, or otherwise using the PACR platform (the "Service"), you ("you," "your," or "User") agree to this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk ("Waiver"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

PACR is a technology platform that helps people discover, host, and join group activities and sports events arranged by users. PACR does not organize, supervise, control, staff, insure, or guarantee any event, venue, participant, host, or outcome. Events listed on PACR are created and run by independent users, not by PACR.

2. Assumption of risk

You understand that sports, fitness, running, and related activities — including but not limited to running, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, soccer, ultimate, flag football, swimming, cycling, training, and any other activity facilitated through the Service — involve inherent and significant risks of property damage, illness, injury (including permanent disability), and death. You voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, whether or not caused in whole or in part by the negligence of PACR or any Released Party.

3. Your responsibility

You alone are responsible for evaluating your fitness, obtaining medical clearance when appropriate, your own safety and gear, complying with laws and venue rules, the accuracy of information you post, and the conduct of any event you host. You participate and host entirely at your own risk.

4. Release of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you irrevocably release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless PACR, its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, partners, licensors, and successors (the "PACR Parties"), as well as event hosts, co-participants, and venue owners/operators to the extent claims arise from your use of the Service (together, the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims arising out of the Service, events, injury, illness, death, or property damage, including claims based on negligence (but not gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law).

5. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your events, your breach of this Waiver or the Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.

6. No warranties; limitation of liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, the PACR Parties' total liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts you paid to PACR (if any) in the prior twelve months or US $50. PACR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

7. Third parties and venues

PACR is not responsible for third-party websites, maps, venues, or services. Your dealings with other users and third parties are solely between you and them.

8. Medical emergency

You authorize emergency medical treatment on your behalf if you cannot consent, and you (or your insurer) are solely responsible for related costs. This does not create a duty for PACR or any user to provide aid.

9. Binding effect

This Waiver binds you and your heirs. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. On liability or risk allocation, this Waiver controls to the fullest extent allowed.

10. Acknowledgement

By accepting at signup, continuing to use PACR, or hosting/joining an event, you agree that you — not PACR — bear all responsibility and liability for your participation and use of the Service to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us — your name, email, profile photo, and the events you create or join — to operate the service. Your approximate location is used only to show nearby events and is not stored as a tracking history.

We never sell your data. Authentication and storage are provided by Supabase; maps are provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies.
